Support Jaivon!
Hello Tanglen families!
We have an opportunity for you to look cool AND support a great cause!!
You may have heard one of our Tanglen 6th grade students is battling leukemia right now. He is currently struggling through the hardest part of this battle, as he is in the hospital recovering from his bone marrow transplant, which happened on Monday, April 15. He will need to be in the hospital, staying inside his room for the next several weeks in order to avoid infection. As you can imagine, this feels extremely isolating to this typically very social boy.
We started a T-shirt fundraiser to provide both unity and support for Jaivon & his family, as well as providing some financial assistance. Our first batch of T-shirts arrived just in time to wear them on his actual bone marrow transplant day! They look amazing, and every time someone posts a picture of these awesome shirts being worn to support Jaivon, his mom reports his spirits are greatly lifted, and his smiles are big! It is also a great encouragement for his siblings when they see the purple shirts worn at their schools as well!
We have heard there are other students who would like the chance to be a part of this, wearing their own purple Team Jaivon #strong shirts, so we are opening another campaign for ONE MORE WEEK! ACT FAST! Order your shirts at the link below from now until 11:59pm on Monday, April 22. The shirts are great quality and fit well with both youth sizes and adult sizes available. They will be shipped directly to your home once the campaign is over.
