Staff Appreciation is going to look a bit different

We're trying something new for Staff Appreciation this year! Join us as we create a special farmer's market shopping experience for our staff. See below for pictures of what we have in mind. If the weather cooperates, we'll set up in the newly remodeled courtyard. Each staff member will be invited to "shop" the market at no cost during staff appreciation week. They'll receive a custom Tanglen shopping tote and pick items from each of 6 stands focused on the following products:

• Pantry & dry goods (like pasta, sauces, jam & baking mixes)
• Fresh fruits & vegetables
• Bakery items
• Flower & garden
• Self-care (like lotion, hand-sanitizer, soaps, and lip balm)
• Unique finds/gifts (like candles, kitchen items & tote bags)

6th graders and their families are invited to sign-up to run the booths on May 6th from 11am-1pm- this is a NO SCHOOL DAY. This is a great opportunity for them to practice their leadership skills & to say goodbye to the Tanglen staff before they move up to the junior high a few weeks later.

We have many items being donated from local community supporters, but we still need your help to pull it all together. Using this link, you'll see we've requested each grade focus on specific items, but if you prefer to donate something from another group, please feel free! Multiples of each item are needed so please take note of the number of items assigned when you sign up!

*The students and staff always love to give fresh flowers during that week, so we'll still plan to offer flowers for sale for $1 before school May 2,3 & 4. Watch for more info as the dates get closer.

*Baked goods can be store-bought or homemade. If you have something special that's not listed you'd like to make or provide, please sign up using the "special donation" slot.
